Painting with Cool Whip

Today we painted with Cool Whip.  It was so much fun!  I noticed I had a tub in my freezer that has been there for months so I thought it would be a fun way to use it up.

Here's how you do it

Materials

  • Cool whip
  • food coloring
  • paint brushes, cookie cutters, combs

Put the cool whip into the muffin tin.  I had C and K do it.  Notice they had nothing in the pan at first.

She learned quickly how to scoop more cool whip up and put it in the pan.

Add food coloring.  (You can choose to do it yourself, but C and K do a great job of adding 2-3 drops.   I have a high patience tolerance when it comes to kids).

Start painting.  I had spoons, cookie cutters, combs, and paintbrushes for them to explore with.

Hmm...what happens when you fold the paper?

Wow!  Look at that!

 Let's try that again.

So excited at her new pictures.

She had so much fun!  Her hair proves it!

I'd say the pictures are proof.

We had so much fun painting with Cool Whip.  You should try it!

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. The paintings dried well. They were dry enough for parents to bring home about 6 hours later. I hope your 3 year old has as much fun as we did.

Anyway, if you have any recommendations or tips for new blog owners

  21. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She
placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

  22. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My website has a lot of unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any ways to help reduce content from being ripped off? I'd truly appreciate
    it.
